LTL & FTL

One Skid or a Full Load, Same Standard

Our fleet of 53-foot trailers serves the key centres Ontario businesses distribute to, with access to unlimited additional trailers when volumes spike. Over twenty flatbeds handle the oversized and odd-dimensional freight that vans cannot.

Through our Interline Division, the same dispatch desk quotes and tracks LTL and FTL lanes across Canada and into the USA, so one phone number covers every shipment you have.

What's Included

Trucking That Fits the Freight

Vans, flatbeds and straight trucks matched to each load, not the other way around.

How It Works

Booking a Load in Four Steps

No portals to learn. A phone call or email gets it moving.

1

Quote the Lane

Send origin, destination, dimensions, weight and timing. LTL or FTL, dispatch prices it same day.

2

Equipment Match

53′ dry van, flatbed or tailgate straight truck, we assign the unit that actually fits the freight and the receiver.

3

Pickup & Line-Haul

Your freight is picked up on schedule and tracked by a dispatcher who will call you before you ever have to call us.

4

Delivery & POD

Dock-level or curbside, with delivery appointments respected and proof of delivery sent when the job is done.

LTL vs FTL

Pay for the Space You Use, or Buy the Whole Trailer

Less-than-truckload means your skids share a trailer with other freight heading the same direction; you pay for your portion of the space. It is the economical choice for one to ten pallets. Full truckload gives you the entire 53-foot trailer: faster transit, no co-loading, and the right call for time-critical or high-value freight.

KDM runs both from the same Mississauga dispatch desk, alongside more than twenty flatbeds for freight that will not fit inside a van: machinery, steel, lumber and oversized crates. When volumes spike we have access to unlimited additional trailers, so peak season does not mean scrambling for a new vendor.

And because our Interline Division extends the same service across Canada and into the USA, the lane you quote today can grow with your business tomorrow.

FAQ

Common Questions

Do you handle partial loads (LTL)?
Yes. LTL is a core service: your skids share a trailer heading the same direction, so you only pay for the space you use.
Can you take oversized freight?
Yes. We run more than twenty flatbeds for freight that will not fit a dry van, including machinery and project cargo.
What if my receiver has no dock?
No problem. We pair LTL/FTL moves with our power-tailgate straight trucks for curbside delivery anywhere in Ontario.
Which is cheaper for my shipment, LTL or FTL?
As a rule of thumb, under ten pallets usually favours LTL and over ten favours FTL, but weight, timing and receiver requirements all matter. Send the details and dispatch will quote both where it is close.
Do you cross the border?
Yes. Through our Interline Division we cover LTL and FTL lanes into the USA with the same single point of contact.
